Fire-Brigade Captain and 35-year veteran volunteer Fire-fighter, David Hayes, established WA Fire Appliances in 1988. As a fully Qualified automotive motor mechanic, he has gained the necessary experience and expertise required to develop an ever increasing range of high Quality, Functional and Affordable fire appliances suited to the harsh Australian environment.

WA Fire Appliances has grown from a one-man operation, to the Prestigious, Thriving and Exciting business it is today, employing fifteen permanent, enthusiastic staff.

Our modern premises and its State of the Art manufacturing equipment, provides a facility which has greatly improved efficiency and production capacity.

WA Fire Appliances are the only WA manufacturer who have constructed a combined total of more than 200 Quality trailers, light pumpers, slip-on's, bulk tankers, midship and rear mount medium pumpers, heavy pumpers, General Purpose & Rescue appliances and rural tankers for more than 40 shires, CALM, F.E.S.A., forestry, mining companies, local and overseas industry and government departments.

WA Fire Appliances have consistently won Tenders through sound business practices and procedures, encompassing local, statewide, inter-state and international tenders, year after year.
